Bodice is a beautiful white nainsook or lawn cotton, at the front of bodice is star embroidery creating a unique detail, if you notice this folds out as it looks like it never had a closure of any kind. Does not mean you couldn’t add your own if desired. Reminds me of something made from a tablecloth or handkerchief which was common to do.
