Florence 1940s Wedding Dress | XXSmall/XSmall

This one is a stunner!

Beautiful vintage 1940's silk velvet full length long tank dress with tabbed straps, fitted in bodice with a loose drape skirt, V back with a zipper closure and a matching button front long sleeve bolero style jacket. Buttons are covered in the silk velvet, gathered at shoulder, three seams at elbow with sleeve ending in a pointed cuff , 4 small snaps allow bride to slide hand through sleeve but once snapped gives the sleeve a fitted look. Dress is lined with a cream silk slip.
The bride who originally wore this wore it on her wedding day February 9th, 1942. Has not been worn since but lovingly preserved by her daughter.
