Dottie 1950s Circle Skirt | Small
Vintage 1950s Pellon striped gold flecked circle skirt
Rare 1950s "paper" skirt
Constructed from Pellon, a non woven textile invented in the 30s but not put to commercial use in clothing until the early 1950s. Pellon is typically used as interfacing and often found in designer pieces of the time to add structure without weight. The fabric resembles wool felt in thickness and structure but feels much lighter.
Cut in a full circle style
Standard waist band.
Full silhouette all on its own, this was shot without a crinoline underneath, this fabric is structured enough to stand up on its own!
Side metal zipper and hook and eye tab
This skirt was owned by a rodeo queen and worn at The Pendleton, OR Rodeo
Please note that this skirt will have to be folded when shipped which will cause creases that will need to be ironed or steamed out upon receipt. They could come out very easily!
