Birdie Early 1920s Top | Small
Vintage Early 1920s As-Is silk blouse
This is a very unique one of a kind blouse that was home sewn
Deep scoop neckline
Body is cream silk
Hook and eye down front for closure
Waist is comprised of a ribbed cotton panel
Navy silk sleeves with a scalloped edge and hand beading in dark aurora borealis glass beads
On the left waist is three snaps, around the remaining part of the waist it looks like a navy silk skirt or peplum was at one time attached and most likely snapped to the three snaps on left side.
Great piece for a collection and/or to study. It could be worn for special occasions with some mending or reuse the sleeves as they are in excellent condition
Truly a beautiful and unique piece!

This blouse is being sold As-Is and am listing as many of the major issues I could spot
* It’s biggest issue is the silk tearing in back at neckline
* Silk on front of bodice on right side showing thinness and a couple pinholes
* Silk at front waist at hook and eye shredding
* Right sleeve has three pinholes
* front left hole where silk attaches to waist band
